Sragen Regency is the only region in Indonesia who has already built IT networks til village level. Recently, all Satuan Kerja/Satker (working unit) Perangkat Daerah, BUMD, several vertical institution, Subdistrict, and villages has been connected to IT network. So, the information and data exchange through each working unit will be faster and more efficient because it is paperless. Public service in Sragen has applied IT, such as Online ID card request. Even in 2007, IT network development has been built in every Puskesmas (Center of Public Health).(ren)
